I went to Dr. Lacour for a routine mole check in August. During the visit, he said a mole was likely severe and pressured me into having it removed immediately, warning that I would probably need surgically remove the area later.
After the procedure, I was given little guidance on aftercare and felt dismissed when I tried to ask questions. He pretty much left the room immediately. Five months later, the area still hasn’t healed. At follow-up, the only solution offered was surgery, with no real discussion of alternatives. A second opinion advised the opposite approach of what Dr. Lacour had recommended. Based on my experience, I would not recommend seeing Dr. Lacour if it can be avoided.
