Dr. Scott Runnels charged me $65 for a consultation visit then charged me $250 deposit to do my surgery along with Women’s Merit Hospital that wanted to charge my insurance $600-800. I paid the $250 and my insurance agreed to pay the $600-$800, but a day before my surgery, I was then asked to pay extra than the agreement and Women’s Merit Hospital wanted to charge my insurance over its limit. It seemed like there was never an intent to do my surgery and Dr. Scott Runnels’ staff use vulgar language towards me and disrespected me while trying to conduct business. Thus, I still tried to make amends with Women’s Merit Hospital and have my surgery done even after being mistreated. I do not recommend this company, if you are someone who is serious about getting a procedure done because the problem that I have is still not resolved and I am still in excruciating pain from the cyst that’s underneath my chin. I really need surgery besides being in excruciating pain, I was constantly bullied at my workplace about my appearance and visit a church one day and felt very unwelcome with distance and stares and now I’m out of work because I was seeking medical assistance for a work related accident while I was employed and no job will hire me in my area because of my appearance. Also I am in the process of searching for jobs around my area and I have been informed by general managers when trying to fill out job applications that I should take care of the cyst first before considering working. I went to Dr. Jr Scott Runnels for help and I still haven’t received any help even after writing and calling asking for initial help with my situation. Only Mrs. Melissa, Mrs. Courtney and Mrs. Brooke showed me true kindness when consulting with them about business and I don’t want happened to me possibly happen to someone else because I am still hurt by this. May God have mercy on this company!
