Mar 27, 2026I was scheduled for a procedure at the end of last year, but apparently there was no availability until January 2025. I paid for and took the medication that was required for the test and when I arrived to the appointment today, I was denied care unless I paid a $250 membership fee. Additionally, after explaining this procedure with another physician, I was told that it was not even necessary which reveals this physician requests unnecessary testing, which drives up costs billed to insurance companies. It’s disheartening to see a medical practice prioritizing financial gain over patient care. This experience has left me questioning the integrity & ethics of Dr. Elena Hernandez. Another point is that I have NEVER seen the face of this doctor for the 2 years I have been coming to this office.
