Dr. Andrew Smith earned his Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College and his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed the combined plastic surgery residency at the University of Rochester.

He subsequently completed a fellowship in microsurgery and oncologic reconstruction at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Smith is board certified in plastic surgery.
