Georgina Nichols, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Sacramento, California. Education, Training, and Expertise

After earning her medical degree from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles School of Medicine in Belgium, Dr. Nichols continued her training in the United States. She completed an internship in general surgery at the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center and a residency in general surgery at Grand Strand Medical Center at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Nichols then underwent a plastic, hand, and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed an aesthetic surgery fellowship sponsored by The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She is licensed to practice in California, Florida, and South Carolina.

Dr. Nichols is a member of several professional organizations, including the Association of Women Surgeons, the Latino Surgical Society, the Aesthetic Society, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Her work has been published in several academic articles in peer-reviewed journals, including the European Journal of Trauma and Emergency Surgery, the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, and the Annals of Plastic Surgery. Industry organizations have invited Dr. Nichols to present at more than a dozen conferences, including the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the American Association of Plastic Surgery.
