Dr. Sargent is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, International Society of Craniofacial Surgeons, and an active member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Association of Academic Chairman of Plastic Surgery, Plastic Surgery Research Council, and numerous other societies. He is past President of the Tennessee Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
Dr. Sargent is nationally renowned as a leader in plastic surgery with a special interest and expertise in cosmetic surgery, specifically in facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, body contouring, and breast surgery. His Salt Lake City office in the Avenues is exclusively dedicated to cosmetic procedures to deliver the highest level of attention and best outcomes for his patients. Not only has Dr. Sargent been practicing cosmetic surgery for the past 30 years but has trained over 60 plastic surgeons in the artistry and technical skill required in this specialized area. He has given over 160 presentations worldwide, authored over 100 publications, numerous book chapters, and written several books.
