Dr. Piro returned to the Bay Area completing his General Surgery training at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco. In 1988 he began his advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco. His comprehensive training in plastic surgery included extensive experience in cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, surgery of the hand and microsurgical reconstruction.

Dr. Piro is proud to be a certified member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a prestigious affiliation which signifies that a plastic surgeon has completed training and demonstrates the skills and knowledge necessary to provide safe and excellent care. He is also a member of the esteemed American Society of Plastic Surgeons, an organization comprised of the leading surgeons in the field of Plastic Surgery.
