Profile of Ivy Ran, Dr
Younique Surgery Center and Medical Spa is excited to announce our new Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Cong Ivy Ran. Dr. Ran graduated Magna Cum Laude, with honors and with Research Distinction from The Ohio State University. She received an Ivy-League medical education, completing the prestigious MD-PhD dual degree program at Dartmouth College.
She went on to Northwestern University for her Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Residency. She completed her training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the President-Elect of American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), Dr. Corey S. Maas and world renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. David W. Kim.
Dr. Ran received a double doctorate degree in medicine and biogenetics in the United States, and graduated from the Ivy League School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Then she worked as a resident in Northwestern University School of Medicine under Facial Ear, Nose, Throat, Head and Neck Surgery. During her residency, she was trained under the famous Dr. J Reagan Thomas, who was past president of American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. After graduation of residency, she studied under the Current President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPRS) Dr. Corey S Maas and the Maas Clinic of UCSF Fellowship. At the same time, she studied with Dr. David Kim, one of the world’s top rhinoplastic surgeons. Dr. Ran has been committed to scientific research while studying and improving clinical knowledge, and has published articles in various academic conferences.
