Dr. Jeffrey Sebastian is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is nationally regarded for his expertise in bariatric surgery and body contouring after significant weight loss.
Dr. Sebastian graduated from UCLA with a degree in Biological Sciences and earned his medical degree from the UC Davis School of Medicine. His academic career included fellowships in cancer stem cell research, as well as health and nutrition. In addition to his medical practice and clinical research, Dr. Sebastian serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
He has conducted extensive clinical research in the field of bariatric surgery and is currently pursuing research related to stem cells and tissue engineering. He has co-authored numerous articles for peer-reviewed medical journals. His medical faculty presentations on body contouring and rejuvenation have been hosted and well attended across the United States.
Dr. Sebastian is co-author of Body Contouring Surgery After Weight Loss. His book is recognized by the medical community as a valuable resource for patients who have achieved massive weight loss, whether through weight loss surgery or diet and exercise.
