EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Dr. Widmyer is a native of Delaware and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame. She went on to attend Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia for four years of medical school. She continued her education with general surgery residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network and an additional three years of plastic surgery training at Summa Health Network.

Dr. Widmyer proudly serves as Vice President of the Manatee County Medical Board and is the current Chief of Surgery at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.
