EDUCATION

Dr. Pierce was born in Southern California but grew up in a small town in rural Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelors degree in Microbiology. From there he went on to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, obtaining his M.D. degree. His internship and residency in General Surgery was completed in Phoenix, Arizona at the Phoenix Integrated Surgery Residency Program and lasted 5 years. A three year plastic Residency was completed at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Following completion of residency, Dr. Pierce joined his friend from residency in private practice in Beaumont, Texas for three years before moving back to Arizona where he has been in practice since 2001.

Dr. Pierce is proud to be Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS) and the Arizona Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Our practice has evolved over the years. Dr. Pierce has performed the full range of plastic surgery procedures including complex reconstructive procedures, burn surgery, hand surgery, wound care, breast reconstruction, microsurgery as well as cosmetic surgery including face, breast and body cosmetic surgery. We are now exclusively focused on cosmetic surgery with an emphasis on breast implant removal and surgical procedures to improve the appearance of patient’s breasts after implant removal including breast lifts and fat transfer. We also offer body contouring procedures including liposuction, abdominoplasty, and arm lifts.
