James J. Mahoney, D.O. (Dr. J) is a board certified Osteopathic physician who received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985. Board-certified in family medicine after an internship in Corpus Christi, Texas and family medicine residency in Flint, Michigan, he served as an assistant professor in the department of family medicine at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He trains physicians at National meetings for the American Osteopathic Academy of Prolotherapy and Regenerative Medicine as well as being actively involved with the American Academy of Orthopedic Medicine.
