Dr. Kienstra’s extremely engaging personality and years of extensive training and experience in facial plastic surgery promote a comfortable physician-patient partnership. Voted 417 land’s Top Facial Plastic Surgeon year after year by his colleagues, Dr. Kienstra has over 20 years of experience specializing exclusively in Facial Plastic Surgery.

His extensive facial plastic surgery background includes a prestigious internship and residency at Mayo Clinic and a facial plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Kienstra has been a leader in his community since 2008 and currently serves as Department Chair of Surgical Services at Mercy Hospital.

Dr. Kienstra is a devoted family man. He and his wife reside in Springfield, Missouri and have two beautiful children who they enjoy immensely. “They’re my best work yet,” says Dr. Kienstra. In his free time, Dr. Kienstra enjoys music, travel, and hunting.
