Dr. Jules Feledy is an award-winning, board-certified plastic surgeon with over 15 years of post-graduate training. He is licensed to practice medicine in Maryland, Virginia, and Northern V.A. The author of more than 20 professional publications and presentations, Dr. Feledy is an experienced practitioner who has performed thousands of procedures. He specializes in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. He is considered by many patients as the best plastic surgeon in DC and Northern VA. Dr. Feledy has experience in a wide range of surgeries but he is particularly known for his reconstructive plastic surgery expertise in breast reconstruction, melanoma and skin cancer procedures. Dr. Feledy earned his medical degree in 1992 from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He served as president of the Lambda Chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and completed two summer fellowships in anesthesiology. His outstanding academic and clinical performance was recognized by several institutions in the form of a Merck Award for Clinical Excellence, a Mount Sinai Alumni Award for Student Leadership, and various clinical honors in seven specialties. Following graduation from medical school, Dr. Feledy began his extensive post-doctoral training with a categorical general surgical residency under the chairmanship of Dr. Arthur Aufses at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. During his residency, he was awarded a prestigious fellowship in Human Genetics in the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Feledy worked with world-class physicians and researchers and participated in their work. He spent four years in clinical and basic science research.
