Dr. Dallas R. Buchanan is a practicing plastic surgeon in Tampa. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), the only plastic surgery board approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Dr. Buchanan is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and practices a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Buchanan is a renowned author, having been published in multiple textbooks and medical journals on topics ranging from facial cosmetic surgery and facial aging to body contouring and breast surgery.Dr. Buchanan was elected as a top 10 plastic surgeon in Washington by the American Institute of Plastic Surgeons for two years in a row (2017-2018). He was selected as RealSelf 500 Top Doctor in 2016 and RealSelf 100 Top Doctor in 2017. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in 2018 for his commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service. He relocated to Tampa Bay in 2018 to start his private practice.

In 2018, Dr. Buchanan relocated to Tampa Bay and founded VIVIFY plastic surgery. His practice now focuses on cosmetic plastic surgery of the face, breast, and body. Since moving to Florida, Dr. Buchanan has continued to accrue his accolades, being elected as a “Top 10 Plastic Surgeon” by both the American Institute of Plastic Surgeons and the National Academy of Plastic Surgeons every year from 2019-2023. He was featured in the “Top Docs” issues of both Tampa Magazine and Tampa Style Magazine in 2020 and 2021.
