Dr. Effie Politis is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Tampa, FL and specializes in comprehensive face and body aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, as well as minimally invasive rejuvenation. A graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Politis trained under some of the country’s leading and most innovative experts in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. As a past Associate Professor under the University of South Florida Department of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Politis mentored and trained resident physicians in all areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Politis has received several academic awards for her leadership and contributions to the education of future physicians.

Her special interests are cosmetic surgery of the face and body, and reconstructive surgery for breast and skin cancer.

Dr. Politis personalizes every procedure to incorporate the unique goals and anatomy of the individual. She accounts for the natural variations of the human body by adapting and enhancing proven surgical techniques.
