Dr. Karen Wells' goal is to combine the Art and Science of Medicine and create a center for excellence in Plastic Surgery at her new office and Med Spa at 3424 West Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, Florida. She received surgical residency training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at the world-renowned University of Pittsburgh Hospitals. After residency, she began an academic Plastic Surgery career and attained the rank of Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of South Florida College of Medicine and published numerous peer reviewed articles. She remains an affiliate associate professor at USF COM and directs her cosmetic plastic surgery private practice in South Tampa. She currently performs plastic surgery at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital, St. Joseph's Same Day Surgery Center, and Advent Health Surgery Center Wellswood.
