Profile of Raman C. Mahabir

Dr. Mahabir is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. In recognition of his accomplishments and excellence in Plastic Surgery, Dr. Mahabir was named the 2017-2018 Plastic Surgery Foundation’s Visiting Professor and has become one the most sought-after plastic surgeons in Scottsdale, Phoenix, and the surrounding areas. He is excited to be bringing his practice to the Tucson community.

Dr. Mahabir chose to pursue an academic career after the completion of his training. The first stage of his practice was at Baylor Scott and White in Texas. While there, his practice focused on complex breast, body, and facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He quickly built a reputation as a caring physician with impressive outcomes.
