Education

Dr. Tolomeo began his educational journey at St. John’s University, where he received his Bachelor of Biology and Physical Science. While at St. John’s University, he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Following his undergraduate work, Dr. Tolomeo attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree. This training allowed him to develop and enhance his fine motor skills while strengthening his keen eye for detail.

He then attended residency at NYU Langone/Bellevue Hospital Center, earning his medical degree, a general surgery internship, and an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. During this time, his passion for cosmetic surgery flourished, propelling him to seek additional training.

Dr. Tolomeo further advanced his training with a general body and facial cosmetic surgery fellowship with the renowned Dr. Angelo Cuzalina at Tulsa Surgical Arts. During his fellowship, he completed nearly 2,000 major surgical procedures focusing on Brazilian butt lifts, high-definition liposuction for males and females, tummy tucks, mommy makeovers, breast augmentation and lifts, and facial rejuvenation.

As an associate professor at Bellevue Hospital Center, Dr. Tolomeo understands the importance of continuing and growing the field of cosmetic surgery.
