Profile of Anna Drzewiecki, Dr

Dr. Anna Drzewiecki is pronounced "Jev-yet-ski", but she has come to be known locally as simply "Doctor Anna", and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She has been in practice since 1988.

Plastic surgery residency was completed at the University of Montreal in Canada with a fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. She worked as an Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery specialising in pediatric reconstructive plastic surgery at the University of Ottawa in Canada for six years, and then at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia,for three years.

In 1997, Dr. Drzewiecki opened her private office in Virginia Beach and her practice has evolved to that of cosmetic surgery. She treats her adult patients with the same gentle touch and patience as with her pediatric patients.

Dr. Drzewiecki is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She is on the medical staff of Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital and the Virginia Beach Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Dr. Anna offers extensive one-on-one consultations, and personally attends to all patient needs pre and post-operatively. All pre-operative histories and physicals, post-op suture removals and dressings are handled by Dr Anna. She spends a lot of time listening to her patients, to understand their needs and expectations. As a wife and mother, she can often relate to patients' fears and concerns, and as a Plastic Surgeon, she can help them make the right decision for themselves.
