Profile of Lawrence Fortier

Dr. Fortier graduated magna cum laude from the honors program at Boston College, where he majored in biology and philosophy. Dr. Fortier earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1976.

As a newly minted physician, he spent a year of internship in surgery and medicine at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Fortier next completed a four year residency in anatomical and clinical pathology at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
