Dr. Veith is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Loyola University in Chicago . He received a Master’s Degree in Physiology and Biochemistry at St. Louis University,. He received his M.D. at Creighton University School of Medicine. His Medical Internship and and Ophthalmology residency was completed at Northwestern University School of Medical Hospitals. He has published papers related to thermal regulation in humans, gastrointestinal enzyme stimulation and optic nerve blood vessel evaluation. Dr. Veith has also presented papers at the ARVO meetings.
