About
From a young age, Dr. Neavin was fascinated with both the arts and sciences and knew that his career trajectory would involve a combination of the two. An avid athlete, he went on to attend college on a football scholarship as a quarterback.
Even with the rigorous requirements of a student-athlete, Dr. Neavin still graduated Magna Cum Laude after making the dean’s list for seven consecutive semesters and afterward moved to Philadelphia to attend the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, a prestigious medical school. There, he would also graduate at the top of the class with Magna Cum Laude Honors.
Immediately after earning his medical degree, Dr. Neavin was accepted into a plastic surgery residency, which speaks to his finesse and intelligence, as only 70 students in the country find residencies in plastic surgery programs directly from medical school.
Afterward, Dr. Neavin was recruited by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for a highly respected plastic surgery training program, which remains one of the largest and most competitive in the country. While there, he trained under some of the most esteemed and experienced leaders in the field of body sculpting surgery.
It was during his time at the University of Pittsburgh that Dr. Neavin authored and coauthored several publications on aesthetic surgery as well as gave presentations at regional and national conferences. Topics included facial fillers, periorbital and eyebrow beauty, body sculpting, psychosexual effects of surgery on women and safety in outpatient surgery.
