Located in Boise, ID, our practice serves as both a regional and international hub for ear reconstruction. Whether a patient's concerns are something they were born with or the result of an illness or accident, we can create a natural, aesthetic ear that will last for years to come.
Patients can take advantage of either MEDPOR™ or a Rib Cartilage framework made of their own tissue to lay the foundations for their ear. Incisions are placed discreetly so that scars heal subtly and naturally. If possible, the ear canal can be reconstructed (CANALPLASTY), or a bone anchored hearing aid (BAHA, Ponto Pro, or BONEBRIDGE) can be implanted at the same time as the external ear. If you are concerned about financing treatment, our experienced staff can assist patients and parents with medical insurance pre-certification and payment.
Dr. Griffiths is dedicated to reconstructing external ears from either congenital malformation (Microtia and Anotia), trauma, or cancer. We also provide secondary reconstruction surgery for patients who are unhappy with their results from previous surgery by another surgeon.
