Gary J. Alter, M.D. is a world renown plastic surgeon with double board certification by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Urology. For over two decades he has been recognized by his peers for his pioneering work in female genital surgery, labiaplasty or labia minora surgery, penis/scrotal surgery, penis enhancement, and transgender surgery. He is an expert in male/female genital anatomy, scar minimization, tissue transferring, and cosmetics. Dr. Alter believes all clinical judgements should work to meet the needs and desires of each individual patient. He currently has two practices in Beverly Hills and New York City.
