Dr. Jonathan Alford is a board certified cosmetic surgeon and one of the only physicians in the Midwest to be dual-trained in both cosmetic surgery and obstetrics & gynecology. His surgical practice is dedicated exclusively to the art of cosmetic surgery and select non-surgical aesthetic procedures.
Dr. Alford has exceptional educational experience and unique surgical training. Dr. Alford attended Louisiana State University in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He earned his degree in biochemistry and developed a deep appreciation for research. He then completed a dual degree program at St. George’s University earning both a Master’s Degree in Public Health and his Doctorate of Medicine. Dr. Alford then completed his residency training at Beaumont Hospital in Southeast Michigan. Throughout his residency Dr. Alford served on numerous departmental and hospital administrative committees as a resident representative. In his final year of residency, he served as Chief Resident.
