I had a wisdom tooth (as well as other teeth) removed at Aspen Dental back in September. I ended up with an OAC (a hole in my gums that seriously affects my sinuses. This needed to be closed by surgery and I was told try not to sneeze (right) and other things like blow my nose too hard. Everything I eat or drink goes into the hole and out my nose. My nose constantly runs. I ended up having several infections. I was referred to Dr. Santin. He was very nice at the first visit but his office staff is horrible. Here we are in March and I still have not had the surgery. Constant infections, nose runs, sinuses burn and they still have not scheduled a surgery date. Why? because of money. They went back and forth about the insurance not paying the original visit and wouldn't tell me what the balance was. After months they called requesting a pay for the balance. I asked them what is the balance because they would never tell me. When she told me, I paid it right then and there and said that's all you had to do was tell me. The balance is paid but they still won't even schedule the surgery. I can pay up front but since they won't schedule and it's been 6 months, I won't. Horrible. and still suffering and taking a huge risk of more serious infections. I am dealing with AFib and you would think getting this taken care of would be a priority.

This is a follow-up to the review I left seven months ago. At the time, I mentioned that their new patient phone line disconnects callers. The doctor just responded yesterday, Seven months later. He claims they don’t have that type of phone system and suggesting I must have called the wrong place. Since I can’t reply directly to his comment, I’m leaving another review. This morning, I called all their phone numbers again, and I can confirm that they DO, in fact, have the exact same system I originally described. When you press #1 for new patients, the call disconnects. Thank you for your offer to assist us Dr. Santin, but it has been seven months and my child's oral surgery needs has been long taken care of.

I would give this less than one star because what should have been a routine wisdom tooth removal almost ended up in me bleeding to death for over a month and needing 20k in surgery to block an artery he cut that he couldn't fix. Do not assume that an oral surgeon is safe because of a few good reviews, do your research, there are plenty of cases on record for this individual and patients have died from his malpractice.

I am so pleased with the quality of care that I recieved from Dr. Santin. He is just wonderful and so kind. I have debilitating TMD and had a non healing ulcer on my tongue that he biopsied and he has taken great care and time in my procedures and care. He spends so much time with his patients making all bases are covered and no stones are left unturned. There is no rush to get you in and out like alot of Dr's these days, he takes as much time as you need to make sure you understand everything and is very thorough. All of the assistants and office staff have been wonderful and so compassionate and kind to me through this stressful time they are so sweet and treated me with great care. I would recommend Dr. Santin and his office to anyone!

Getting a wisdom teeth extraction is a major surgery. Dr. Santin did a great job making my daughter comfortable during the surgery. After the day of surgery, my daughter started to feel better when we followed Dr. Santin’s precise recommendations for pain medications day by day. This oral surgeon is kind and considerate about calling each of the families he serves the evening of their surgery to check on their recuperation. That phone call was very important to me, and it set all my worries to rest. When I followed the doctor’s instructions, my daughter’s initial pain became manageable.
