Aline RauDr

Dr. Rau is a 1st generation American who immigrated to Virginia from Germany as a child. She grew up in a bilingual household, keeping her roots close to home. After traveling around the country and to Europe for medical training and residencies, she returned to Colorado, the home of her plastic surgery residency. She currently lives with her husband and two young sons in Denver. In her free time, she stays active with skiing, hiking, camping, and rollerblading. She also loves to craft projects and cook with her sons.

Dr. Rau’s roles as a physician and mother are equally defining. She had both of her children during training, so she knows first-hand the difficulties of being a busy working mom. She brings this understanding and compassion to her patients with a commitment to great results and a positive impact from cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Rau’s service and humanitarian efforts have extended to Guatemala where she traveled with a group of pediatric general surgeons and plastic surgeons during her training. Their team treated children with various surgical ailments. Dr. Rau hopes to continue her work by professionally supporting similar organizations in the future.
