HELLO I CAME TO Dr Garamone in October 2021!!! HE IS A GOOD TOP SURGEON!! Meaning, HE did excellent on my chest!!! I had a breast reduction prior to coming to him and he did the best he could with my nipples, which i knew were kinda messed up!! One nipple is bigger than the other but i believe it came from me having a breast reduction before i came to him.. over all i am satisfied with my chest!! and recommend all transmen to go to him !
CONS: I AlSO RECEIVED THE MAN SCULPTURE (Lipo) FROM HIM, BUT WAS NOT SATISFIED AT ALL!! i feel like i was over charged for that part.. and the result were not pleasing, nothing changed, so i do not recommend the man sculpting. Also, once I got to the hospital WHERE HE perform his surgeries, I HAD TO PAY AN EXTRA 4,000 to The HOSPITAL! I did not understand that part but I made it that far, so i paid it.
I had to go to another Dr to get better results for my lipo..
But overall, he is a good Dr to go to for TOP surgery!!
The staff is amazing ❤️🤞🏽!! Kind and very patient!!

Garramone is a true professional, and does amazing work. I underwent top surgery with nipple grafts this past January, and I'm very satisfied with the results. His experience and knowledge are incredible. Any posted picture of his results truly speak to his talent and precision. Personally, my healing is going very well, in large part because of his and his office staff's care. I got to ask all kinds of questions about what healing would be like, what I couldn't and could do, and how my job might affect my healing. Every at the office is patient, kind, and reassuring.
His pre-op and post-op care instruction packets are VERY detailed, and you can call the office during their hours to ask any questions. You can tell that these healing methods and instructions have been developed over many, many years. At the office, Kelli and Jodi are extremely knowledgeable. For post-op care, they allow you to access an emergency number to call Garramone at any time (I did not have to use it, but it made me feel safe and gave me great peace of mind). You can also send pictures/info, and give them a quick call, and they'll have Garramone check up on what you sent to make sure your healing is going smoothly.
He's very busy, and as a result, sometimes I had to wait longer for my appointments (pre-op/post-op). He moves pretty fast, but is happy to reiterate points and instructions, answer questions, and stick around to make sure I had a full understanding of both the procedure (pre-op appointment) and healing (post-op). If I had to wait an extra 40 minutes because other patients needed extra care or time with him, then that's fine by me! It just means that if I needed extra help/care, I would absolutely get it. (Thankfully, my appointments all went quick and were very straightforward.)
I was also really glad that my surgery was on time, and with an accurate estimate of how much time it would take. My family was glad that I was finished about when they expected (so they could pick me up and knew things went well), and I was happy that things went smoothly + I knew what cost to expect from the surgery center due to Garramone's experience and correct estimations.
As for the price, many surgeons offer top surgery, and some take insurance. They charge a wide range of fees, some higher and some lower. While I believe that healthcare should be free & available to all individuals, disliking capitalism does not preclude me from needing to purchase goods and services. Things can cost a lot of money sometimes, and it's unfortunate that folks can't afford necessities, including gender-affirming surgeries. (I participate in activism in my own community to help with this.)
I picked the surgeon who was right for me, and I had the privilege of a steady job, being able to save money, and getting help from family. I wish everyone had the same or better circumstances. If you're a prospective patient reading this, and you feel like cost could be a barrier, then you don't need me telling you what to do/ways crowdfund/how to save. Just know that it costs a substantial amount of money, and you are paying for Garramone's extensive experience and talent. If you like his results, then it's worth it. Choose the surgeon who is right for you.
I chose Garramone because he was right for me and my circumstances & needs. My insurance frequently reimburses his fees (I have yet to submit my claim, but I'll see soon), and I was able to pay out of pocket. (I am fully prepared to NOT be reimbursed, obviously. I don't spend money I don't have. Do not pay for surgery expecting insurance will cover you.)
My travel costs were reduced a LOT because I have family in Florida, and live in Georgia. My family also helped me with other costs, which is not a privilege everyone has. Garramone may not be the right surgeon for everybody, but if you like his results, and the cost doable for you, then he might be the best option for you. This kind of surgery is FOREVER, so I strongly believe that you should choose the surgeon who will create results that you love the most!

I had Surgery with Dr. Garramone on 1/6/22. He is the best surgeon in the country in my opinion so I saved for years to go to him specifically. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Many people in the trans community complain that he is taking advantage of the community because of his prices. He has spent his entire career perfecting his technique so maybe be grateful that he is a master at his craft and is even an option at all? Many years of dedication and practice, med school, surgical specialty came at a cost to him as well. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR PEOPLE. My results are perfect and better than I ever expected. Thank you to Dr. Garramone and his team for your dedication to the trans community and for being a big part of my journey to self-love.

This was my first surgery ever. At 38 years old, I was understandably nervous! The staff, from the front desk (Kelli and Jodi), to everyone at Memorial Same Day Surgery, to Dr. Garramone himself were all incredible!
He is so knowledgeable and thorough! He’s also an active listener and is willing to answer your questions. This is a very busy practice, and they are not here to hold your hand. You get the results you want, while being treated like an adult who is valued in society. Like it SHOULD be.
Regarding the price (which I know in our community is a point of contention), you get what you pay for people. I wanted the best. So that’s exactly where I went and EXACTLY what I got.
If you have to save money to go here, save the money if at all possible.
Outstanding clinic! Thank you for a whole new life Dr. G and staff!!!
-A very grateful Easton

Excellent surgeon and staff. They are very patient, understanding and kind. I travelled all the way from Uruguay and would choose them again without hesitation.
I had to wait maybe 2-3 hours at the pre op appointment, but I’m not mad at all, I was there to do that! It is totally worth the wait.
