Dr. Corey S. Maas is an internationally renowned facial plastic surgeon board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. After years of studying at prestigious medical institutions, Dr. Maas completed his Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. His skill and dedication to the craft eventually led him to serve at UCSF as the Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for over 11 years. In 2001, he left the full-time faculty at UCSF. He founded The Maas Clinic for Aesthetic and Facial Plastic Surgery and The Research Center at The Maas Clinic. He is the Medical Director of The Appearance Care Center, a state-of-the-art medical day spa with the latest technology and skilled nursing staff. Dr. Maas is a published author and has authored and co-authored more than 150 articles, written numerous book chapters, and been a principal investor in over 40 clinical trials that have aided in advancing his specialty. Dr. Maas believes facial plastic surgery is both a science and an art. As such, he frequently spends his time in pursuit of improving his artistic ability. You can often find him painting, drawing, and playing the guitar. Dr. Maas is also a pilot and athlete who enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, and golfing with his wife and two sons whenever the opportunity arises.
