Dr. Dan Georgescu (aka Dr DAN) is double-board certified by the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (ABFCS) and the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). He specializes in the cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, orbit and face and in non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as Botox and fillers. He is an expert in eyelid, brow, mid-face and lower face-lifting procedures. He also specializes in endoscopic lacrimal surgery and pediatric oculoplastic surgery.

Dr. DAN has been in practice for 10 years and has successfully performed over 7,000 surgeries. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles, published in the most prestigious scientific journals, and 3 book chapters. He is often invited as speaker and lecturer to meetings in the United States and abroad and has given over 100 lectures and scientific presentations.

Dr DAN is currently in private practice in South Florida, and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University, where he teaches young ophthalmologist and optometrists the art of facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Went to see Dr. Georgescu for a consultation and was very happy with the detailed explanations he offered as well as his very friendly and professional demeanor. The office staff were also very friendly and courteous. Have already scheduled my procedure and looking forward to the outcomes.

Wonderful, caring, great personality doctor. He addressed my medical problem and did a surgical procedure without scheduling to come back. I was told the office would call back within 2 weeks for biopsy results.

I met with 5 or 6 other surgeons before meeting Dr. Dan. I did not get the impression from these previous doctors that they were going to be the right fit for me, that I could trust to put myself in their hands for my complex surgery. I met with Dr. Dan and that all changed. I could tell that he was truly 100% invested in the best outcomes for his patients; his top-notch level of expertise is evident upon conversing with him. I made my surgery appointment that same day. At the hospital just before my surgery, the nurses and anesthesiologist were commenting on how much they liked and respected Dr. Dan. They said they enjoyed being assigned to his surgeries, as he sets such high standards for his work that it steps up everyone’s game who works with him. Pretty high praise from those who know! Made me feel good about going into surgery, that’s for sure. Now I am one month post-surgery and couldn’t be happier with the results. Amazing work! Recommend!

Dr. Dan was AMAZING! Highly recommend him and his office staff. I went to him for a cyst near my lower eyelid close to the bridge of my nose. I previously went to a general plastic surgeon who looked at it and wanted a CAT scan plus Outpatient surgery to remove it. I found Dr. Dan in my area and thought I'd get a second opinion from an Ocular plastic surgeon. Dr. Dan took care of me and checked to make sure that it wasn't interfering with my eye and tear duct. After that checked out, I was scheduled to come in and have it removed in office. Dr. Dan and his medical staff reassured that the procedure would be easy and nothing to worry about. They were right! Dr. Dan was done in minutes. I walked out of there with my problem resolved and left with a very small incision. I could not have been more pleased with the results. Thank you Dr. Dan and staff!

I am recovering from an eye eviseration (eye removal) done by Dr Dan two weeks ago and although the idea of needing to have this procedure was beyond frightening Dr Dan made me feel at ease knowing that I was in good hands and it made the experience, although still daunting, easier to accept. His entire staff is wonderful and I could not have asked for a better surgical team than the one at the Surgical Center Of Weston. Dr. Dan took time to explain the procedure and follow up steps needed for a prosthetic eye which he will arrange for me. He was available 24-7 for any post surgery concerns I.had and always showed his concern for how I was feeling about the entire experience. I have a lot more healing time before I get a prosthetic eye fitted but in the interim I am confident knowing that Dr Dan will be monitoring my progress to make sure that the end result will make me feel that I made the right decision to have my eye removed and that I chose the best surgeon to perform the procedure with Dr Dan Georgescu.
