A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. David Mosier attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry. He received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.

Our Austin cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Mosier, completed a five-year residency in general surgery at Easton Hospital and Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a three-year residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Loyola University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Mosier is committed to providing superior surgical care, and because of this, he has been recognized by Super Doctors for his excellence in the field. The publication presents an annual list of the year’s premier medical professionals, as nominated by their peers based on several categories. Dr. Mosier has been featured in the Texas Super Doctors issue for 10 years in a row, a significant achievement that has earned him the Hall of Fame accolade.

As an esteemed cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Mosier is on staff at all Austin and Round Rock area hospitals. The majority of his outpatient surgeries are performed in his building at the Health South Surgical Hospital of Austin, which offers overnight stay accommodations. Procedures requiring more than a one-day stay in the hospital are performed at other major Austin hospitals.

I cannot even find the words to express our gratitude for what Dr Mosier has done for my wife, Virginia. We visited with many other surgeons and were quite impressed with two others. The only problem with those two was that they would not allow us to submit any claims to our insurance company. What a blessing those refusals were in disguise. So by default we chose Dr Mosier. So. If you are in need of someone who not only has the skills but also empathy look no further. This is your guy. Thank you Dr Mosier for giving my wife a whole new outlook on life. God bless you.

Dr. Mosier and his staff are amazing. They care about their patients and make you feel special. Dr. Mosier does amazing work and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I can’t recommend them enough! You will not regret going to see him.

Dr Mosier and his staff and incredible! I went in for a consultation for a procedure and never felt pressured and all my questions were answered. I scheduled my procedure after discussing it with my husband and when I had questions all I had to do was email the staff and they would answer right away. During my pre-op visit I received detailed instructions and information on how the procedure would go and what to expect afterwards. The surgery center was conveniently located downstairs from his office and the staff there is very kind as well. My procedure went great and I am very please with my results and would definitely recommend Dr Mosier to anyone. He is very precise with his work and gives you the look you are going for!

Dr. Mozier is a complete professional. He fully explained the procedure to me at my first appointment. He is the best!! I had a breast reduction and it went exquisitely. I’m so happy with my new breasts and feel so much lighter and with way less back pain. I would recommend him to everyone!! I’m definitely coming back for future procedures.
