Deirdre Leake

Dr. Leake’s surgical specialty focuses on the nose, face, ears, throat, neck and skin. Her five-year residency was in otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) at the University of Rochester, NY. From there, she completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the highly esteemed University of Michigan Medical Centre in Ann Arbor. She has dedicated six full years solely to the head and neck area. This extensive training allows her to manage functional and aesthetic problems simultaneously.

With expertise in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Leake has accomplished thousands of successful operations of the head and neck on women, men, children, and infants. She has been trained in all aspects of facial cosmetic surgery, including minimally invasive endoscopic forehead surgery, different types of facelifts, aesthetic and functional rhinoplasties, multiple modalities of skin resurfacing, and reconstruction after skin cancer excision. Her expertise stems not only from her technical skill, but also from the attention to detail of an artist: Dr. Leake is a highly trained artist who draws, paints, and sculpts.
