I had an excellent experience at La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery Center in April 2024 when I had an explant surgery performed by Dr. Luke Swistun. To say that this surgeon saved my life isn’t much of an exaggeration. I had been sick for over a decade and finally realized it might be my breast implants making me sick. I had imaging done to confirm my suspicions and then did a deep dive online to find a qualified surgeon. When I saw that Dr. Swistun had been a combat medic AND an art major in college, I knew I’d found the right guy for the job. I knew he was trained in the en bloc removal and figured if he could remain calm under pressure in the military and had an artistic eye, my results would likely be phenomenal… and I’m happy to report, that’s exactly how they are. I highly recommend Dr. Swistun without reservation, especially if you have a ruptured breast implant or are experiencing symptoms of breast implant illness. Lastly, a shout out to the entire care team! Everyone I interacted with was caring, kind, supportive and professional. I’m forever grateful to La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery Center for giving me a second chance at health.

Dr. Brahme has given me a new look. After 5 children and losing weight but still having sagging skin, I had no confidence or sexy in me. He gave all that back to me.
