Dr. Vaca is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body. His research has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Time Magazine, US News & World Report, Fox News, Reader's Digest and Fortune Magazine. He completed his medical training at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, followed by residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine.

He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and book chapters and has presented his research at the most prestigious national and international plastic surgery conferences including, among others, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the Plastic Surgery Research Council (PSRC), and the American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS). Dr. Vaca & his co-authors were awarded the prestigious “Best Paper Award”, by the Journal of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2021.

Dr. Vaca is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. He was born in California to parents who immigrated from Ecuador and was raised in California, Ecuador and Florida.

Dr. Fagien did a medically necessary procedure on my eyes. He did an excellent job and was honest about what to expect each step of the way, including the post year and a half of monitoring. He is deeply knowledgeable and has a winning personality. I am pleased that a doctor of his caliber was available for my needs.

From the first call, his office staff has been friendly and organized. They have a few main people who are always available and on top of your progress. You can get ahold of them at any time if you have a question. Appointments were always right on time with no wait. I always look forward to my office visits, too bad I'm healing so fast. As far as Dr. Vaga and Dr. Faigen, all I can say is that there is a reason that they are the top people to see in the US. They are friendly, kind, involved and incredibly skilled. I cannot recommend his office enough for quality care. I also wanted to say that the surgery center was top notch. I was comfortable and the medical team were incredible. I would give more stars if I had the option.

My sister and I both had a lower blepharoplasty done and everything about our experience, from the appointments to the surgical procedure, was amazing. Dr. Fagien and his staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the best care and results. You can tell everyone there truly cares about their patients. Highly recommended! We're still recovering from the procedure, but we're already so happy with the results!

This is the only man you should trust with your eye improvements surgery. His resume, experience, and medical publications are above and beyond reproach. He has been doing this for so long and has developed insights and new procedures to maximize the benefit and minimize the pain and downtime, that he is considered a master by the other doctors in this particular niche of surgery. His office is neat, clean, and crisp and inviting. The staff is so very supportive and really go the extra step to make sure you are comfortable throughout the whole process. My results were fabulous and the whole experience was much easier than anticipated. I have never had elective surgery and was very frightened to go through with this. But my eyes were rejuvenated and i am very comfortable now with the look and feel of my upgraded eyelids. Truly real pros in every aspect.
