Dr. Hojjat was exposed to science and art at an early age in a household filled with his father’s paintings and his mother’s medical textbooks. He saw how art and science can complement one another, appreciating the creative stroke of the brush that filled the house with beauty, along with the disciplined yet empathic nature medicine demands. During his medical career, he was naturally drawn to plastic surgery after seeing firsthand how a patient’s perception of his or her physical features could have a significant impact on their overall health and wellbeing. 

After receiving his bachelor of science, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Hojjat completed his residency at Wayne State University, specializing in head and neck reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. He then completed a prestigious fellowship in Facelift and Cosmetic Facial Plastic Surgery at Premier Image in Atlanta and Emory University, where he participated in and performed hundreds of facial aging and complex rhinoplasty procedures. Only 40 of the most competitive head and neck surgeons in the country secure the unique opportunity to specialize in complex facial cosmetic surgery, and Dr. Hojjat is proud to be among them.
