Dr. Jack Hensel Jr. is a distinguished plastic surgeon at The Manor at Lowcountry Plastic Surgery Center in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Born and raised in Kansas City, Dr. Hensel received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1994. After finishing his general surgery training in Charleston, he decided to complete an additional year of surgical training in Akron, Ohio. Here, he went on to finish his residency in plastic surgery at the Summa Health System.

In December 2000, Dr. Hensel completed his plastic surgery training with a fellowship at Nashville Plastic Surgery. This fellowship strongly emphasized cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery and a large volume of facial aesthetic surgery, liposuction, and body contouring. During his time in Nashville, Dr. Hensel trained with the internationally renowned surgeons, Dr. G. Patrick Maxwell, Dr. Jack Fisher, and Dr. Mary Gingrass.

The entire staff was welcoming, kind and wonderful! The staff was full of smiles and laughter. It made a possibly stressful experience very easy. Brooke is knowledgeable and gently talked me through the procedure. She provided excellent pre and post care education. I will return without hesitation!

Dr. Baker is amazing! He is the best, he has helped me so much. I got a tummy tuck with a previous doctor and I was left with some scar tissue and Dr. Baker has removed it. I love the results!

Trusting someone with doing a major life altering procedure on your body is scary and requires a lot of research and prayer! In my case, it could've affected my life given my history! The moment I met Dr. Matthew Baker I knew he was the right doctor to handle my procedure. From the time I stepped into the office I was welcomed so warmly by all of the staff. My procedure required EXTENSIVE repair and Dr. Baker, Tabatha, Michelle, Trudi, and Holland took such great care of me and explained everything to me step by step. The post op care matched the procedural care. I had follow up visits often and each time was met with genuine care and concern! The results are more than I could ever have expected or imagined! SCREAMING to anyone that will hear please use their services! I felt like I was their only patient because of how well I was treated!

Hands down the best place to go. The ENTIRE staff treated me with the utmost respect and was so friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone. They treat you like you are one of their own and make sure you receive the most out of your experience. I had breast augmentation and Dr. Baker is the best in the low country and more updated on the “new ways” to do things than anyone I spoke to. I left my consult and surgery feel nothing but ease. Even if you want to get consults from your favorite doctor I highly recommend just hearing him out because you will leave feeling and looking like a million bucks.
