Amazing! Dr. Zampell is a miracle worker that gave me back my sense of self in a body that feels like mine. After I experienced disappointing outcomes with other surgeons during my breast reconstruction journey, my luck turned around when I met Dr. Z. Her dedication, impeccable skills and expertise, high-standards, as well as her unwavering commitment to helping women with breast cancer, carried me through this very difficult process. Dr. Zampell resolved an issue that others I spoke to said they could not. For context, I had a previous PAP flap procedure that did not achieve the outcomes promised with another surgeon. Because I am on the thinner side, my donor sites and vessels did not have a typical amount of yield. Dr. Zampell chose to perform a delay procedure prior to my DIEP that was like an insurance policy so that my vessels and donor tissues were viable and robust. This made my DIEP surgery so much easier to get through. A few months later and I had my final revision with her (fat grafting and scar revision) and I’m so thrilled with the outcome. I also have to compliment her staff. Dana, Cherelle and Steph are all so helpful and dealt with my numerous questions, phone calls and texts with professionalism and care. There is no one else I trust more than Dr. Zampell. She listens, deeply cares, and is painstakingly dedicated to achieving the best result unique to each patient. And I really like her as a human.

Dr. Zampell was heaven sent. She was so knowledgeable and informative when explaining the process after a double mastectomy. I couldn’t have had any better surgeon! She is so caring and has the best bedside manners! I was so thankful to her throughout this life changing experience!

Where do I begin? Dr. Jamie Zampell is hands down an AMAZING person and surgeon! I felt I had a complicated case: double mastectomy with silicone implant reconstruction which radiation destroyed. I had abdominal liposuction for breast fat grafting (NOT performed by Dr. Zampell) in an attempt to correct “issues”—-which it did not. I was left with abdominal deformity post liposuction among other complications. I traveled from GA to CA to seek the BEST reconstructive surgeon and I did! Dr. Zampell listened to my concerns and formed a surgical plan. Her office was amazing in setting me up with needed imaging tests and coordinating with my travel plans. I am 5 weeks out from DIEP and PAP flap breast reconstruction and I couldn’t be happier with my results! I cannot recommend Dr. Zampell enough!

How does one review someone who has had such profound impact on my life! Dr. Zampell, simply put, has given me my life and body back.
