Profile

Dr. Thaxton grew up in the quintessential small town life of Sissonville, WV.  After attending Marshall University’s undergraduate and medical schools, he jumped all the way to the Ivy League at New York City’s Columbia University.  While at Columbi’s famous Physicians and Surgeons School of Medicine, Jeff found his passion with plastic surgery.  After studying in hospitals all over Manhattan, Dr. Thaxton missed being surrounded by the beauty of the mountains.  Not quite ready to return home, Dr. Thaxton decided to polish his skills in the rarefied air of Vail, Colorado.

After several successful seasons on and around the slopes of the Rockies, Dr. Thaxton decided to return home.  He’s currently on staff at St. Francis Hospital and Thomas Memorial Hospital where he performs may breast cancer reconstructive procedures.  Dr. Thaxton is passionate about more than just restoring the physical body; he strives to restore patients to their whole selves.

Dr Thaxton went above and beyond with my panniculectomy. I can't put into words how thrilled I am with my results. He explained everything at my consult, and he was honest about what would work and what I needed and I am just blown away. I feel a million times better. The was approved by my insurance as a medically necessary procedure, and I am thrilled with the result of that and of physically feeling better, but I can't express enough how thrilled I am with how he made my stomach look. He did such a beautiful job and took such care to make sure I ended up with a result that I was happy with. I cried when I saw my stomach the first time, and I still can't believe it when I see it! he office staff is wonderful, and they were so helpful with answering my questions and giving me advice. I seriously can't recommend Dr Thaxton enough!

Staff are professional. Dr Thaxton knows best. Recently had my rhinoplasty and after 1 week my nose look really great. I can see the difference. Thank you everyone🙂

Dr. Thaxton and his staff are professional, and very friendly. I knew after my consultation I had came to the right place. The staff is very knowledgeable, and helped me to decide what size implants would provide the look I was hoping to achieve. I highly recommend anyone who is considering breast augmentation to give Dr. Thaxton’s office a call.

From my consultation to my last follow up visit everyone was so kind and caring. Dr. Thaxton and his staff are on top of everything. I am so happy with my results!! Dr. Thaxton’s work is amazing! I was educated on what to expect before, during, and after my procedure. I had no issues with the healing process. Everyone was great!
