With decades of experience and an established record of leadership in plastic surgery, Dr. Jeffrey Kenkel is recognized as one of the best facial plastic surgeons in Dallas and Frisco, Texas. And when it comes to caring for his patients from McKinney, Prosper, Allen, and beyond, he puts his extensive knowledge and innovative thinking into practice, combining the latest and best science with refined surgical techniques for optimal safety, comfort, and results.

Dr. Kenkel is the Chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern. He is the past president of The Aesthetic Society, the leading professional organization of plastic surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and who specialize in cosmetic plastic surgery. In addition, he is the past president of the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgery and served as a director of the ABPS. He is also the editor-in-chief for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal (ASJ).

He actively advocates for new, proven technologies, speaking around the country about lasers and light-based technologies that are an integral part of facial rejuvenation. New technologies give Dr. Kenkel more treatment options for our patients, thanks to our location on campus at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Kenkel has authored more than 180 peer-reviewed publications and numerous book chapters and co-authored a book on ultrasound-assisted liposuction. His research focuses primarily on laser and light-based devices and their tissue interaction. He has developed a non-invasive imaging center to help assess the aging process and the impact of devices on aging.
