Dr. Joubin Gabbay was raised in Beverly Hills and is deeply rooted in the local community. Dr. Gabbay graduated with honors from the University of California San Diego, where he sought a well-rounded education in both cutting-edge molecular biology and practical and theoretical arts. It was early in his undergraduate education that he developed the philosophy that continues to drive his approach to patient care today: the best approach to any question is a comprehensive one. Not satisfied with a classroom-based education alone, he independently sought to perform research in cell signaling at the prestigious Salk Institute in La Jolla, CA and in surgical outcomes at The Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
