Make sure you get your time to sit down and talk to him and not feel rushed (you deserve your time, too, within reasonable limit... to ask questions and feel confident in someone operating on your body) because he is a busy man but when you can sit and talk with him he has such a great sense of humor and is very personable and comforting. He put me at ease before my surgery and the whole process was a breeze. I felt great before, during and now after the surgery and I am healing well. I am very grateful to Dr. C and his team. I thank God for showing Dr. C in my research because I was very nervous about having a surgery as it was my first and I am a very skeptical person. His whole team was wonderful and so helpful and kind toward me. Beaumont hospital, in general, in Royal Oak- my experience has been great aside from lengthy wait times but I assume it is because they are very busy. I highly recommend Beaumont in Royal Oak and especially Dr. C!!

I read the story of Tim McGrath, 38, who was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma. The surgery was remarkable but am curious to know if further surgeries will be needed, esp of a more cosmetic nature? Congratulations on offering to help this poor man.

I came to Dr Chaiyasate when I had no where else to turn. I had previous brain surgery and had severe skull pain ever since. After three years, we were blessed to be recommended to Dr. C. After taking a CAT scan that showed the bones, he determined that the bones had never healed from my previous surgery. I had about a six inch gap. My bone was allowed to float freely in my head. My brain had no protection. Before Dr. C, I had been hospitalized several times for this exact type of pain. Countless doctors had felt my head and told me "this bumpiness is a result of having brain surgery". I was so happy to have someone confirm what I knew all along. I could tell there was something wrong; no doctor ever took the time to figure it out though! I am forever grateful to Dr. Chaiyasate. He has changed my life. I am about 13 days post op now, and am doing spectacular. I have had one day where I was in pain! This is a MAJOR improvement for me! I just got my stitches out yesterday, and the incision looks beautiful. I could not be happier with the results. If you are looking for someone who will investigate and truly cares about his patients, you will not be disappointed. I owe this guy my life- I will be forever grateful!
