Dr. Lance D. Keyes grew up in Oak Harbor and is so happy to be back in his home town! After attending Oak Harbor High School, he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience from BYU, his dental degree from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, a one-year internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and a four-year residency at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. He loves hiking, camping, biking, and most of all spending time with his wife Melissa and their five kids.

Awesome experience! We both had implants placed a day apart and both of us had exceptional care. Their entire staff is very professional and caring. The thought of implants can be a scary thought, especially when they involve bone grafting and your sinuses. We were pleasantly surprised that we had very little discomfort even after all the local anesthetic wore off. Day 5 and things are going great. Highly recommend, and the best part is that Dr. Keyes cared enough to call us personally to check on us. Russ and Char

Dr. Keyes and his staff were so professional and caring with our older kids that we also took our very nervous autistic daughter for much needed multiple wisdom tooth extraction. He couldn't have been more understanding and helpful. He has a great sense of humor that made us laugh and helped her relax.

Pulled our son’s wisdom teeth - did a great job. Dr. Keyes has a comfortable bedside manner and is upbeat and fun. Doesn’t take himself too seriously, yet is very smart and professional. Son’s mouth is doing great. Very happy with the work he did.

Doc was pretty weird, nurses told me they'd call me 3 separate times and never did... I have white coat syndrome and he doesnt make you feel very comfortable. He seems to be too busy to give each person the individual attention they need. Very rushed. A couple of the nurses were very kind and personable though and when all was said and done, he did a good job pulling my teeth. Also very clean facility. But his father at gentle dental is awesome! So is the entire staff! Happy to have my wisdom teeth over with finally!
