ASOPRS is a body of experts who maintains stringent standards in cculofacial plastic surgery, a sub-specialty of Ophthalmology in which the surgeon has at least two additional years of training in plastic surgery of the eyelid, orbit and face following residency. Oculofacial plastic surgeons have in-depth knowledge of and extensive experience in eyelid surgery and facial aesthetic as a whole. ASOPRS offers about 20 fellowship positions to highly selective surgeons each year. Dr. Phan has completed her ASOPRS fellowship at Johns Hopkins University to become one of few oculofacial plastic surgeons in the Bay Area. 

While fully educated and trained in the United States, Dr. Phan enjoys traveling internationally and sharing her expertise. She has spent an extensive amount of time treating patients, conducting research, and teaching and training other physicians in China, Japan, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, and Ghana and published dozens of scientific articles.

Dr. Phan returns to the San Francisco Bay Area to provide her expertise in a private and intimate setting where each patient received exceptional and personalized care. While Dr. Phan has special interests in ophthalmic plastic surgery and facial aesthetics, she is committed to treating patients with functional ophthalmic surgical issues as well. Whether preserving function or enhancing her patients' natural beauty, Dr. Phan's goal is to help her patients lead a fulfilling and active life.
