Before and After Photos Below In March of 2023 I was in a serious car accident. The emergency room I was brought to wouldn’t provide a plastic surgeon to me. Even in the state I was in I knew that I needed a plastic surgeon to fix my face as it had been split down from the top of my scalp to my eye. I knew I was racing against time if I didn’t want to cause extra damage to my face. I called MANY other surgeons while lying in the emergency room before finding Dr. Hochman’s office. Marilyn answered the phone and expressed true concern for someone she had never met. She immediately said yes that they would be willing to help me. The hospital that I was at released me and my family drove me to Dr. Hochman’s office. All my clothes had been cut off during the ambulance ride so I showed up in a hospital gown and bandages over my head. After arriving they got me in immediately. The nurse Kim got me comfortable and ready for surgery. During all this time she also helped me mentally after being through something so horrific. The surgery and the post appointments went great. Dr. Hochman not only was able to make my face look normal again but also helped me with zapping that I had going on after damaging the nerve. After a few months I was looking and feeling like myself again. Without Dr. Hochman and his team I have no idea how I would look today. I truly can’t believe how good my face looks compared to the damage that was done. It’s almost like I got a facelift. I’ll never be able to thank their team enough for everything they did for me that day. I cry now even thinking about my gratitude for them and how much they helped me. Kim, Marilyn, Dr. Hochman y’all were my angels that day. I’ll forever be grateful for the three of you. ❤️

I wish someone had made a review like this one, before I made the costly decision to go forward with the hair transplant with Dr. Hochman. I informed Dr. Hochman that my main concern was to cover my bald spot in the back of my head. With the first surgery I said focus on the back, then the front, and last in the middle. After a year after the surgery, there was still a huge bald spot on the back of my head. Dr Hochman suggested I do a second surgery, and assured me the back would be fully covered, with no bald spot. I agreed, because like the majority getting this surgery, you don’t want to remain slightly bald, but not bald at all. After a year after the second surgery I went back in to inform Dr Hochman that there was still a bald spot, and he assured me it would be covered. His response was “Well it looks better than it did before, and he’s doing nothing more.” I told him I would make reviews to let others know about my experience. He said I was threatening him, and told me to leave. A couple weeks later I received a letter saying I was banned from setting foot in his practice. I’ve included a picture of what my bald spot looks like a year after my second surgery with Dr Hochman. If your on the fence about doing the surgery or not, maybe this will help your final decision. Also worth mentioning, the doctor does not perform the actual surgery - he flies two women in from TX to perform the procedure. I am expecting a follow up from the office for this review - let’s see if they make it right via a partial refund, offer of additional procedure, or if they just make excuses. The other review follow ups from this office seem to blow their patients off, and say they can refer another doctor. Dr Hochman said he doesn’t want any patient to be unhappy, definitely not the case with me. Really poor customer service. Hope they turn this around and make it right.

Dr Hochman was the first doctor to offer any options for treating my cluster headaches. He and his staff made accommodations to see me, even staying late on occasion, to work me in for daily treatments for a while. The relief I have experienced is remarkable. He and his staff are wonderful and caring. I can’t thank him enough and highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr Marcelo Hochman for over a year and a half. I lived in Charleston until recently. His whole practice is super professional from the minute you walk you’re greeted by either Stephanie or Marilynn Dr Hochman us compassionate very talented kind and I found him funny. I would recommend him to anyone who in my cases was suffering from debilitating headaches. Thank you Dr Hochman and staff for your excellent care

The office is beautiful, quiet and calm. Staff is polite and friendly and efficient. Dr. Hochman is kind and puts my 6 year old at ease when she sees him. He doesn't do anything that isn't necessary so we haven't been told we need x y and z and didn't really need them. In actuality, he sees my daughter every 3-4onths since her accident and doesn't need to do anything yet. Thank you!
