A highly educated and well-trained physician, Dr. Lahar first developed an interest in medicine after shadowing a plastic surgeon during a high school senior project. He first earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
From there, Dr. Lahar went on to earn his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. He then refined his skills and knowledge through residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Lahar completed additional training in aesthetic/cosmetic plastic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Advancements in cosmetic surgery tools and techniques have expanded the world of plastic surgery. There are treatments available today that far exceed the options available just a few short years ago. Dr. Lahar is dedicated to exploring the very latest in cosmetic surgery to bring those benefits to his patients.
