Dr. PJ Hawkes, a board-certified plastic surgeon, has joined the Billings Plastic Surgery team to expand their commitment to providing exceptional, world-class cosmetic and reconstructive surgical care to patients in the Rocky Mountain region. He was raised in Utah and began his education in engineering. He realized that applying his critical thinking and problem-solving skills to the world of medicine could provide patients with a clearer understanding of available options, better care, and improved patient outcomes.

Dr. Hawkes education includes bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Utah, as well as a doctorate from the University of Utah School of Medicine. After medical school he continued his general surgical training at the University of Nebraska and completed his Plastic Surgery training at the University of Iowa. Dr. Hawkes is a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon specializing in microsurgery and utilizes the latest cosmetic surgical techniques to help patients build self-confidence and become the best versions of themselves. He genuinely cares for his patients and works with them as part of a team while striving to obtain the best results possible.
