Dr. Calabria completed a two-year residency in pathology at Wadsworth-UCLA Medical Center in West Los Angeles. After five years of general surgery and a six-month training in cardiothoracic surgery at Kern County-UCSD Medical Center, Dr. Calabria trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco—the oldest plastic surgery program on the West Coast.
Dr. Calabria is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties for plastic surgery. This certification is the gold standard for all plastic surgeons as it demonstrates their ongoing dedication and commitment to their craft.
