Dr. Robert Schutz is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Rapid City, SD with more than 20 years of experience. He attended medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed a general surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, followed by a plastic surgery residency at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is knowledgeable in the treatment of facial rejuvenation, Rhinoplasties, body contouring and rejuvenation, breast reconstruction, breast augmentation, breast reduction and various other cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Schutz is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has been a member of the South Dakota State Medical Association, Black Hills Medical Society, Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons, and the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.

Dr. Schutz has been a clinical professor at the Sanford School of Medicine, University of South Dakota. He has been awarded a certificate of recognition by the Allergen Academy. To keep current with the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Schutz has completed and continues to complete CME and certification requirements for the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
