Dr. Ross Cooperman is double Board-certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and General Surgery.

Dr. Cooperman attended medical school at George Washington University and completed a General Surgery residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. During his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Louisville, he worked alongside specialists renowned in all types of plastic surgery, but focused his education and training on breast reconstruction and microsurgery. In 2010, he returned to Livingston to open his practice.

Dr. Cooperman focuses on breast reconstruction and specializes in microsurgical applications, including the DIEP and PAP flaps.

In addition to reconstructive surgeries, Dr. Cooperman also offers cosmetic procedures, including breast lift, breast reduction, breast augmentation, post-weight loss body contouring, tummy tucks, and liposuction.

Dr. Ross Cooperman is an amazing doctor. He is kind, compassionate, makes you feel so comfortable about the procedure you will have. I personally had a DIEP Flap Surgery for reconstruction as preventative and so happy with results and his pre and post operation follow up! He makes himself available and communicates effectively which makes you feel so calm and trusting about your surgery. You will not be disappointed in him & his team to provide you wonderful care. He was also willing to partner with another Breast Surgeon and work with my doctors on the best plan for my health. When I was in the hospital for recovery he personally came and saw me every morning to see how I was doing and was available to the nurses that were providing care. That is special in a Doctor and rare. Thank you Dr. Cooperman, and Team!

Dr Cooperman and his staff are absolutely amazing!!! I was extremely afraid of surgery and he made me feel safe and comfortable. Dr Cooperman is everything you want in a surgeon!!! I consider myself very lucky to have had him as my Doctor! If you are in the need of an amazing Doctor, look no further! Dr Cooperman is the best!

The most caring doctor I have ever met. From first consultation to post-op follow ups - you are instant family. Dr Cooperman will make facing a difficult health situation seem quite a bit less scary. He will answer your text messages on a Sunday afternoon. He will take the time to contact your other specialists to make sure your other conditions are addressed properly during surgery and recovery. He will call them again to get more information on a medication you take that he is not very familiar with. He genuinely cares and so does his staff. Larisa will know you by name and remember your illness history when you call the office. I cannot be more greatful to Cooperman Plastics.

Dr. Cooperman is the most caring, thorough and compassionate doctor I have met. He is an extremely highly skilled plastic surgeon and his attention to detail is unmatched. But he also has a welcoming, compassionate and enjoyable bed side manner. He makes you feel comfortable and is very positive. He makes himself available at any time to answer any question you may have. He made a very scary situation for me (double mastectomy + DIEP reconstruction) seem not so intimidating and it was a pleasure to go see him for my visits.
